The French and German National Contact Points and Enterprise Europe Network Alsace, in collaboration with the Europe Alsace Network, will organise an EU Brokerage Event on KETs in Horizon 2020.Focusing on Key Enabling Technologies (KETs) : Nanotechnologies and Advanced Materials, Biotechnologies, Advanced Manufacturing and Processing; FoF (Factories of the Future), EeB (Energy efficiency in Buildings), SPIRE.The objectives of the brokerage event are to present the European Union’s new NMBP Work Programme 2016 – 2017 of the Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020” and to prepare future co-operations between participants. In September, alongside the International Engineering Fair (MSV), the leading industrial trade fair in Central Europe, a B2B mission will be organised offering a unique opportunity for Japanese companies operating in mechanical engineering activities to optimise their business opportunities within the Central Europe region and the city of Brno. The mission will consist of a seminar introducing business opportunities in the Czech market combined with visits to local companies with cutting edge technologies and/or innovative centres in the Czech Republic. Japanese wine and food importers are invited to a mission in Spain by our Spanish EEN partner Employers’ Federation of La Rioja.The mission will be held on the 3 - 4 of June 2015 in Logroño, Spain.The participation fee, that will include the travel and hotel expenses for three nights for Japanese importers, is 400€ (+/-50,000Yen). Travel expenses from Japan to Spain will be covered by the Employers’ Federation of La Rioja.The eligible Japanese importing companies should have at least 3 years of experience in trade and be either: - Food chains, supermarkets, delicatessen chains of shops, importers of Spanish food products...- Distributors of wine - wine/food imports should be a relevant part of the company businessImporters will meet local producers of extra quality agrofood industry (tinned vegetables, olive oil, Spanish sausages… ) and there will be a lot of wineries - Wine in Denomination of Qualified Origin Rioja.A list of the participating Spanish companies is available.Note that the final selection of participant will be made by the Employers’ Federation of La Rioja.Deadline to identify importers: 21 April.Japanese companies should contact the EU-Japan Centre to express their interest.
